Film Aquaman 2018: Sinopsis Film Terbaru Aquaman (2018), Check This Out!
Aquaman merupakan film superhero yang diadaptasi dari karakter DC Comics dengan genre petualangan aksi yang digarap oleh James Wan (The Nun, Lights Out) selaku sutradara dan penulis cerita bersama Geoff Johns (Deadpool, Green Latern Corps) dan Will Beall (The Legend of Conan, Gangster Squad) dalam mengembangkannya dari komik berjudul Aquaman karya Paul Norris dan Mort Weisinger kedalam film.
Film ini menjadi spin-off atau film solo dari anggota Justice League dengan mengisahkan tentang Arthur Curry atau dikenal sebagai aquaman, pewaris kerajaan bawah laut Atlantis yang harus melangkah maju untuk memimpin rakyatnya dengan melawan saudaranya sendiri, Orm yang berusaha untuk menyatukan tujuh kerajaan dan melawan dunia permukaan.
Film Aquaman menjadi garapan keenam dari DC Extended Universe (DCEU) dengan urutannya, Man of Steel (2013), Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016), Suicide Squad (2016), Wonder Woman (2017) dan Justice League (2017).
Dilanjutkan dengan film solo Shazam! (2019), Wonder Woman 1984 (2019), Birds of Prey (2020), Cyborg (2020), Green Lantern Corps (2020), The Flash (belum diketahui) dan The Batman(belum diketahui). Namun perilisan sewaktu-waktu dapat berubah, sesuai keinginan dari pihak studio yang bisa memajukan atau memundurkan jadwal tayang film.
Menjadi film satu-satunya yang tayang ditahun 2018, film Aquaman dibintangi oleh Jason Momoa (Braven, Just Cause), Amber Heard (London Fields, Run Away with Me), Willem Dafoe (Murder on the Orient Express, The Great Wall), Patrick Wilson (Insidious The Last Key, The Commuter), Dolph Lundgren (Creed 2, Wanted Man), Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (The Greatest Showman, First Match) dan Nicole Kidman (The Upside, She Came to Me).

Diproduseri oleh Peter Safran (Flatliners, The Crooked Man) dan Rob Cowan (The Conjuring 2, The Hollow Season) dengan rumah produksinya Warner Bros. Pictures, DC Entertainment, Cruel and Unusual Films dan Mad Ghost Productions telah mengeluarkan budget pembuatan film sekitar $160 juta USD.
Selaku pihak produksi, Warner Bros Pictures akan tayang pada akhir bulan desember 2018 dengan tagline "Home is Calling".

Sinopsis Film Aquaman
Film Aquaman mengisahkan tentang perjalanan Arthur Curry (Jason Mamoa) dan Mera (Amber Heard) untuk merebut tahta atlantis dari sang kakak tiri, Orm (Patrick Wilson) yang berniat untuk menyerang dunia manusia dengan dibantu oleh Black Manta (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II). Pencarian mereka adalah untuk menemukan senjata Trident milik raja sejati Atlantis.

Wan directs from a screenplay by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick (The Conjuring 2) and Will Beall (Gangster Squad, TV’s Training Day), story by Geoff Johns & James Wan and Will Beall, based on characters from DC, Aquaman created by Paul Norris and Mort Weisinger. The film is produced by Peter Safran and Rob Cowan, with Deborah Snyder, Zack Snyder, Jon Berg, Geoff Johns and Walter Hamada serving as executive producers.
Wan’s team behind the scenes includes such frequent collaborators as Oscar-nominated director of photography Don Burgess (The Conjuring 2, Forrest Gump), his five-time editor Kirk Morri (The Conjuring films, Furious 7, the Insidious films), and production designer Bill Brzeski (Furious 7). They are joined by costume designer Kym Barrett (The Matrix trilogy, The Amazing Spider-Man) and composer Rupert Gregson-Williams (Wonder Woman).
